Inner Journey:
I have never been on a college travel course before so I am excited for this new experience. I was lucky enough to be able to go on two big trips in high school because of my involvement in choir. We went to Disney World in Florida and New York City. We travel by charter bus for both trips. I am already expecting this trip to be different from those because we are traveling by train which I have never done. We are also creating this blog which is also new for me. I enjoy writing and it’s not often in school that we get to write what on our minds. Most of the writing I’ve done is researched based. I love the itinerary for this trip I think we are going to a lot of interesting places. I also love the freedom we get with our free time. My friends and I have been looking at different things to do on our free day. I am also anxious or this trip, which is pretty normal for me before going on any trip. I don’t like leaving my family and dog. I am also anxious about the long train ride because I get motion sickness but I am preparing for that. I am hoping to learn a lot about the culture of this interesting city. I have always wanted to travel to New Orleans. I think the city has such an interesting history and there are many elements about the city that I am exited to see. I can’t wait to eat some Cajun food. I also love the architecture and fashion. I am most excited for the haunted history tour on our first day there. I think its going to be a interesting tour tour and a great way to kick off this trip. Me and my mom always watched scary movies and tv shows about paranormal activity. This is something I would go on if I came here myself rather than a school trip. I really enjoy learning about history of cities. When i was on my class trip to New York City my favorite part was learning the history of Broadway street. I can’t wait to be in the city sightseeing in just a few more days.
