Day Three: Inner

It was a long day for me, we started our morning on the train, and it was really dragging I was getting anxious to get off that train and be in New Orleans exploring the city. Once we finally got off the train and got all of our luggage, we ventured to our hotel room and it was a feeling of relief once we got there. To finally set all of our stuff down and be off that train. Then we only had a small amount of time before we set off on our walk to New Orleans. It was already pretty dark by the time we got there. I was so excited to finally be here. After a bit of walking we got dinner. It was the best jambalaya I have ever had. I was also really hungry, but the food was still delicious. Next, we had the ghost tour. I actually really enjoyed learning about the history of the ghosts. It was so interesting and bizarre. The La Laurie Mansion was my favorite story because the house was beautiful and had such a dark past and even though we couldn’t go inside seeing that room without a window made the story more surreal. We ended our nigh with stopping a a few shops in the French Quarter and they were so fun. We stop at a beautiful lamp store. The lamps were made with stained glass. I would love to have one at my home.
